Jonna Crocker

President

Jonna is a junior in Dyson with a minor in Health Policy. She is President of the Dyson Ambassadors, on the Advisory Board for A Seat At The Table, and a Resident Advisor for first-year students. Outside of class, she runs a non-profit organization, Fighting H.A.R.D. Foundation, for kids with rare diseases. She loves spending time with friends, cooking, and going to the Jersey Shore.

The DUC Executive Board is responsible for spearheading all DUC initiatives in their respective roles, communicating ideas and concerns to administration, and leading teams of their peers to bring the visions of the student body to fruition. However, none of this would be possible without our General Body members.

Gavin Hakimian

Vice President of Student Development

Gavin is a sophomore majoring in Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics. He is also a member of Cornell Private Equity Club and Cornell Game Changers. Gavin enjoys listening to rap and R&B music, playing volleyball, and watching sports in his free time.

Lara Grosskopf

Vice President of Faculty Engagement

Lara is a sophomore majoring in Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing. She is also pursuing a CPA license. Outside of DUC, Lara is a member of Cornell Fashion Collective, Cornell Program Board, and Mergersight. In her free time, she enjoys making spotify playlists, binging tv shows, and getting boba with friends.

Logan Day

Vice President of Alumni Relations

Logan is a sophomore from Long Island, New York, majoring in Applied Economics and Management. He is also the Executive Vice President for Social Enterprise at Cornell, External Director for A Seat At The Table, and a Teaching Assistant for AEM 2010 Spreadsheet Modeling. Logan enjoys watching football, listening to music, and the NYT Daily Games.

Casey Samuels

Vice President of Public Relations

Casey is a freshman from Westchester, NY with an intended concentration in Marketing and Food Business Management. Outside of Dyson, she is also involved in the Mediocre Melodies and Challah for Hunger. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going out to eat, and traveling.

Jessica Gordon

Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Jessica is a sophomore in the Dyson school studying Applied Economics & Management double concentrating in finance and strategy. On campus, Jessica is involved in Professional Development of Women (PDOW), Dyson Leadership Fellows, and is the Chapter President of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She is also a course assistant for AEM 2700 Management Communication. In her free time, Jessica loves exploring the different walking trails of Ithaca, swimming, and spending time with friends.

Gian Ciapponi

Vice President of Recruitment and Training

Gian is a sophomore in the Dyson School, planning to concentrate in Strategy and/or Finance. He’s a member of Cornell Consult your Community (CYC). Gian enjoys getting outdoors to hike, ski, wake surf, and explore new areas. He also loves trying new restaurants and cuisines and has a passion for cooking and baking. His musical tastes include alternative, indie/folk, pop, and country. Gian is also interested in French culture and aviation. Passionate about the environment and sustainability, he hopes to contribute meaningfully to reducing the effects of business on climate change.
